About Department

Establishment of Philosophy Department:

          Department of Philosophy established in academic session 1956 with beginning of Arts Faculty. Philosophy is one of the important subjects at B.A. level. Admitted students can have option of three subject groups for first degree level (B.A.).

Vision:

          “To Educate Students from Maharashtra by Providing Quality Education so that they become good Philosopher, Social Workers, Academicians and Administrators, who in turn shall improve the quality of the Human race”.

Mission:

• To educate students from the local and rural areas, so they become enlighten individuals improving the living standards of their Families and Society.
• To inculcate passion for excellence through knowledge of Philosophy, Political & Social Carrier leading to elevated Carrier Profiles and National Development.
