About Department

          Commerce Department in Jijamata Mahavidyalaya was started in the year 1964. The curriculum designed by affiliating university is taught through Marathi and English medium. Marathi medium is a Grant-in-Aid course and English medium is a Non-Grant course.
          The M. Com. Post Graduate course was started from the year 2012 as a Non-Grant course and e-commerce was commenced as a certificate course from the year 2018. 20 students are admitted in this course.
          Presently two full time teachers and three CHB teachers are working under commerce and management department. Two posts are currently vacant. As there is a computer subject under the department, 21 computers are installed in computer lab for dissemination of knowledge and conducting practical.
